ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -Deputy Minority Leader of the Albany County Legislature, Paul Burgdorf, proposed a bill that would require the county to track the financial impact of migrants within the county. That bill is expected to go to a vote in August. A person was hospitalized after being shot at a P.F. Chang's restaurant in Chino Hills on Saturday. The suspected shooter was identified as Lauro Rangel, 32, from Norwalk, by the Chino Hills Police Department.Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the restaurant located at 3445 Grand Avenue around 3 p.m.Police say the suspect, Rangel, allegedly entered the restaurant and headed to the kitchen area where he shot at the victim, a 40-year-old male employee.During the confrontation, another employee restrained Rangel and held him down until police could arrive.The victim, who was not identified, was transported to a local trauma center. Security cameras captured a woman ransacking a Lululemon store at the Irvine Spectrum and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on Friday.The suspect was identified as Leasia Marie Bradley, 26, from San Diego, by the Irvine Police Department.Video shows the masked woman standing in front of the women’s leggings section while unfolding a giant tote bag. Already holding an armful of clothing, Bradley begins quickly grabbing stacks of leggings from the shelves and stuffing them into the large bag. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Charges were dropped against two people arrested in connection to a carjacking and stunning crash down the Sanchez Street Stairs in San Francisco, prosecutors said Friday. The Saturday afternoon crash was captured on video as a stolen car plummeted and flipped down the staircase before it landed on top of a tree. Good Samaritans helped five people escape from the mangled, up-side-down car. All five people then fled from the crash scene before emergency crews arrived, surveillance video shows. Two San Francisco residents, Kevin Nelson, 36, and Jennifer Bonham 31, were arrested Tuesday and booked into jail. According to jail records, police believe Bonham was driving when the dramatic crash unfolded."The charges against Ms. Bonham and Mr. Nelson have been discharged at this time pending further investigation and witness unavailability," the San Francisco District Attorney's Office told KRON4 on Friday. (KRON) -- A vegetation fire is burning along Interstate 580 in Livermore as crews work Saturday night to contain it, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
