The crash occurred around 8:58 p.m. on Interstate 805 southbound, located south of Interstate 5, Salvador Castro with the California Highway Patrol said in a news release Tuesday.The motorcyclist, of Oceanside, was stopped in traffic lanes on a black Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was struck by a red Honda Crosstour, according to authorities.
