The results of an investigation into the reports of a possible miracle at Thomaston’s St. Thomas Church have been sent to the Vatican.On March 5, the Rev. A Willits man was convicted this week of murdering a man and his 17-year-old son at a marijuana cultivation site on Sherwood Road, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported.According to the office of DA David Eyster, Christopher W. Gamble, 48, of Willits, was found guilty in Mendocino County Superior Court Monday of two counts of murder in the deaths of Ulises Andrade Ayala, age not provided, and of his 17-year-old son, Anwar Ayala Rodriguez.According to press releases from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, the bodies of two people were found in the 20000 block of Timber Road in late April of 2021. (AP) — Nine railcars from a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed in Pennsylvania, with no hazardous chemicals on board and no reported injuries, fire department and company officials said. The derailment happened late Wednesday outside of New Castle, the company said in a statement.“Our crews responded immediately and are actively working at the site,” the statement said.
