Cashing in on Barbie’s recent comeback, a national outfit is bringing Malibu Barbie Cafe to the Mall of America this September.Bucket Listers, a “media experience brand,” will open the cafe following its sold-out runs in New York and Chicago.The cafe, which will likely run for four or five months, is “inspired by the groovy beachside energy of 1970s Malibu, a time of carefree summer days when Malibu Barbie was first introduced to the world.”If it follows the Chicago run, the decor will be mostly bright pink, with pops of other pastels, and there will be plenty of Instagram-friendly places to take photos.In Chicago, the fast-casual menu, created by Los Angeles chef Becky Brown, includes items like Pacific Paradise Rainbow Pancakes, Live Your Dream Grilled Cheese and a Beach Burger.Your ticket ($34-$44 for an adult, depending on peak/off peak times in Chicago) gets you entrance, an entree and a side. (NEWS10) -- A 23-year-old hiker from Canada suffered significant head, rib, hip, and leg injuries after falling approximately 40 feet from the highest waterfall in the Trap Dike on Mount Colden. The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) says the hiker was flown to the hospital and did not mention their current status. The 2023 Battle of the Cones is raging online, in a series of community-led rounds to determine the best ice cream in the North Country. EASTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Easton man was arrested on Tuesday, August 1 after being accused of stealing $75,000 in jewelry from one of his relatives. KANSAS CITY, Mo. —Thousands of marijuana products sold at dispensaries across Missouri are being recalled, because they might not have been properly tested by the state.The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) has issued a product recall for more than 60,000 products sold to dispensaries and manufacturers by Delta Extraction LLC. A San Diego woman is suing a national trash and recycling waste management company after she was hit by one of the company truck’s metal tines. Surveillance video from the incident that took place in February 2021 shows the woman, Deanna Beck, walking through the parking garage of an apartment complex, when the driver of a Waste Management Services truck backed up and hit Beck with the truck’s metal tines, resulting in her falling to the ground. Beck was rushed to a nearby hospital to be treated for major neck injuries and trauma to the brain.
